It's a wonderful place with an electric energy. But it's also very dysfunctional and corrupt. I'd recommend visiting, i've been to a few states and it's better than any trip to Europe or America i've ever had.
Wow Oliver, great read. I really enjoyed this post. Thanks for the background information on the projected Indian economic growth. Some of your stocks look interesting.
An Indian index fund I'm sure will also give very solid returns, but for those out there who prefer individual stocks I think these are some solid bets.
As a subscriber I would love to hear more about India and your long term investment strategies. I think over the next few years this will become even more of a success story. Keep up the great work.
I was looking for the ‘best’ India ETF (as European investor) already but after the tariffs, the fact that the US is their main export country and they are not on great standing and the overall opinion that it looks like their demographic dividend isn’t being unlocked since the low labour prices aren’t as important as before (also thanks to AI maybe), what’s you take on investing in India now?
Thank you for the incredible overview into one of the most fascinating trends of the next decades that is India’s rise! Really enjoyed reading this and need to start diving into some Indian companies at some point! Have you had time to research this market more and form strong convictions on some Indian stocks (apart from the ones in this article)?
Have you been to India, Oliver?
No never. Have you?
Yes
Any comments?

Top man! Thank you. Will see what I can do this year.
It’s definitely on the bucket list. As is a big American road trip
Super valuable insights!

Cheers Daan! Yep, for sure a lot of positive fundamentals going on there.
