Link for December Spreadsheet / Portfolio
Hey all,
I’m hoping everyone had a great weekend and thanksgiving break away from the markets. Behind the paywall below is the link for the December spreadsheet. As paid subs know, this is where I post all of my current holdings, allocations, trades, buys, sells, adds, trims, watchlists, ideas, notes, and exact dollar amounts I have.
At the end of the year I’ll calculate exactly what I am up so far this year, but doing it on my spreadsheet and across the different accounts I have is not an easy task. I suspect I am in the range of 40-45% after the recent pullback. The SPY is now at 16.6%.
In November I was reasonably active, more so than September and October. Here’s some of the activity for example.
In December I suspect this will go down a bit unless we have a bigger pullback that will allow me to use my cash pile. I remain fairly bullish but there’s some signs out there brewing that leave me a little hesitant at the moment.
The monthly candle on the SPY looked fairly bearish.
We’ve had 6 consecutive green monthly candles.
We’re getting more and more random huge pullbacks on no news. Crypto last night for example.
Healthcare has been performing great as well. That tends to be a slightly more defensive sector.
Ultimately, if we look out 3+ years I remain very positive. But month to month I am getting a bit more hesitant as I’ve been saying. This has not stopped me buying into quality undervalued names though and I will continue to try focus on individual valuations rather than all of the macro noise because that is my edge.
My gains have primarily been driven by LMND, SES, SOFI, BABA, CEG, ONDS, and SVM. I added to some new names in November too where I hope to start building more sizable positions if the market allows me.
Anyway, here’s the link to my spreadsheet. It’s $16 a month and I am to make this one of the best services out there for the price.
