At the end of the year I will calculate exactly what I am up so far this year, but doing it on my spreadsheet and across multiple different accounts I have is not an easy task. I believe I am in the range of 55-57% now. The SPY is 16%.
My gains have been primarily driven by SES, LMND, SOFI, BABA, CEG, ASPN, ONDS, FSLR and many more. We’re in a difficult period now with some growth stocks trading at insane valuations, whilst some trading at very reasonable valuations (PATH, LMND, TMDX for example). I think now is a great time to still be bullish on the US tech sector, but also position yourself in a way to benefit from other cycles such as China, India, emerging markets, healthcare, value plays etc etc.
