Thanks for putting these positive earnings into the bigger picture. I think the market is very cautious atm so any short term pop on these growth plays will be sold off immediately.
Some neutral or slightly negative points I have noticed is that Lemonade for the first time increased their head count (4%) and that their home product is not growing but declining slightly. They make good arguments (home: terminating CAT, losers) why, but of course that might be excuses. I can also observe some negative sentiment about the experience (impersonal service, AI overload, surveillance, Israel connection) but that might be bias on these review sites. I will monitor that closely.
So. In the extremes, everyone is replaceable by AI .. AI can now build itself, so it is understanding the waves through, across the best 500 companies.
I don't know it just got me thinking (1) how far ahead does wallstreet operate (2) what's irreplaceable? it's definitely interesting to think of companies where assets like real state, location, geographic edge, legal permits, etc; things/assets that are not digital, are valuable, reside. But then I also think (3) it is one thing to say everyone will be irreplaceable, but another to say that it is sustainable and convenient for society in the long term. To some extent, this one has to be related to some aspects of the human being being actually irreplaceable, but I don't know which are they yet. Talent does not sound to me like the right word for now, although it definitely comes close to that "immediate intuition when rules change" capacity of reaction humans have. Saddly, a fully automated coporation, even those with low levels of digital needs, need only a few people with "talent" to overcome AI limitations.
Went to far I know but if wallstreet operates the same way, then I dont know if 5 - 10 year models is the best lense here. Anyways, long LMND; one of my cleanest trades so far. Chart will get hectic if there's not full reversal by friday. Hmmm .. hmm

I don’t disagree that a 5-10 year time frame could be looking too far ahead.
Thought it was nice to do this time though. All my other analysis is 3-5 years max
